    Abstract

Wireless sensor network is emerging area of research where lots of work done regarding its energy consumption and security. Security is the most concern for wireless sensor network because of its infrastructure less characteristic or change scenario frequently, there are lots of attacks in sensor network but Sybil attack is most concerning for sensor because of in this attack attacker node took the identity of any other node. There are lots of techniques to detect and prevent sensor network by this attack but all have some remedies. Now we propose a location based tracking detection or prevention technique in which first on the basis receives signal strength indication we find out the location of the node and then update the routing table of the node in which we update the position of nodes and then on the basis of threshold value we find out malicious nodes. We implement our work in ns-2.35 where we choose AODV protocol; the novelty of our work proves by results.
